Joseph Campbell described the Hero's Journey and Gandolf, in the Lord of the Rings, told the Hobbit Frodo that he had been chosen for a special  journey.  So have all of us.  Our choice is to accept it - or not . Our responsibility? To prepare for whatever it might be and whenever it might be offered.
